The lazer therapy is the best out there for it. There are other treatments but most fall within the same price range. Consider seeing a dermatologist they'll tell you what's best for the scarring you have.

I'm assuming the scarring you have is mostly red/pink and still a bit bumpy. They will continue to be like that treatment of not it's part of the healing process, so the vitamin E if anything is making them show more prominent now because of the healing it promotes (it's a good thing) It will go away in 4-6 months.

As for complete scar removal you'll want to wait until you've finished puberty as it's a costly process and does leave you more prone to acne afterwards. So if you do it while you still get acne it may make the problem worse and the scars following that would be much deeper.

You can look into getting a chemical peel, but it may be a bit pricey, but nothing as much as laser.

I was going to say dermabrasion. or see a dermatologist for acne surgery. The problem with scars is they only fade as skin layers build up on top of them. Your skin is semi-transparent and will show deep scars for decades. Spending a couple hundred now might be worth it if you have the acne under control. Lotions and steroid cremes only do so much.

There are all sorts of laser and other things that can be done but you're not in a position to do those and at 15 you should be working hard on reducing your acne altogether, but a great natural product you should try is the New Zealand-originated Manuka honey which carries amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Get the 'active' manuka (unique manuka factor – UMF – rating of 10+). This product is great for a whole bunch of things like blackhead treatment, reducing acne redness (and not just for acne either).

Hi Katelyn,

The watery gel from Aloe Vera plant is a highly effective natural cure against Acne. The enzyme-rich gel has very soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be taken internally and helps clean up and detox the digestive tract. This in turn can help clear up the skin.

Gel or juice of Aloe Vera is highly useful in fading of acne scars. You can grow Aloe Vera plant in your home and apply freshly taken pure Aloe Vera gel to your scar. Otherwise many branded cosmetic companies manufactures pure Aloe Vera gel, so you can choose the best cosmetic companies to get Aloe Vera gel.

Vitamin A is also a natural and effective Acne cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.

Vitamin E also helps in countering Acne. It is a natural antioxidant and beneficial for the skin.

Tea Tree Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.
