Acne spot treatments?
I have had a history of bad acne. (cystic zits, white heads, black head, ect.) The only thing to remotely clear my skin was when I started taking vitamins. I had a clear face for 2 months except for the occasional small pimple but recently stopped taking birth control and again my acne has gotten out of hand. I have over 10 spots on my face at the moment. It lowers myself confidence more than anything and is extremely painful.
I've tried the aspirin face mask but what else can I do?

Whenever you stop birth control your hormones go crazy for awhile and cause acne. story of my life! Makes me never want to stop it. But what I do is I go to Walgreens or Target and stock up on spot treatments that contain 10% benzol peroxide as that is the strongest non prescription medication out there. I just use that several times a day.
You could also try using a dab of nonwhitening toothpaste on each pimple, but I have not found much success in this, but other people swear by it.
If you cannot take it anymore, go see your dermotologist. My doxycycline prescription and retinA cream that I was prescribed got me through the worst of the birth control pill withdrawl acne.

- Put A Small Amount Of Oatmeal In A Bowl Or A Cup
- Put A Small Amount Of Hot Water In he Cup
- Mix The Water And Oatmeal
- Add Honey
- Cover It And Put It In The Microwave For 10-15 Depending On How Much Oatmeal You Put In The Cup/bowl!!
