Amway: ARTISTRY® TIME DEFIANCE® Vitamin C + Wild Yam Treatment?
Hi.
I am 22 years old and I had a perfect skin an year ago. But I was overly stressed and lots of bad things happened at once in a year and I got so much acne and acne scars on my face now. My face does not break out as much anymore (getting better) but I have scars all over my face and my face looks dull.
I made a contact with person selling Amway product and she recommend me ARTISTRY® TIME DEFIANCE® Vitamin C + Wild Yam Treatment and few other things.
I believe ARTISTRY® TIME DEFIANCE® Vitamin C + Wild Yam Treatment is mainly for older people for younger skin. Is it ok for 22 year old skin to treat with this? would I have any side effect?
Because I heard from someone that using severe anti aging product to an younger skin is not good. I also asked the person from amway and she said ARTISTRY® TIME DEFIANCE® Vitamin C + Wild Yam Treatment is mostly organic so it is ok.
Let me know if anyone knows about this..
Thank you very much

I've learnt to be cautious of what MLM agents introduce to me. (Amway is a MLM company in my country, I reckon it is in yours too)
I dont have any experiences with Amway, but another MLM company in my country.
they've recently launched a new skincare product infused with apple stem cells for anti aging. (I'm 23 going on a 24, btw).
when i googled apple stem cells, it was mostly stated to be for mature skin and so i feedback to the agent, who also happens to be my friend, that i don't think it suits me.
but he insisted that this skincare is a miracle product that suits each and every skintype. he really made it sound as if as long as it's an epidermis+dermis we're talking about, this skincare will do wonders.
so i tried it. spent a bomb on it as well. and it broke me out, badly. complained to him again and he claimed to have forgotten to pre-empt me that this product will cause purging for 2 weeks to a mth and urged me to continue using it. so i did… 1 mth past, my breakout worsen into cystic acne-like, pus+blood filled pimples.
gosh, i was soooooooooooooooooo pissed off! i quickly took myself of the darned skincare and it took me 3 weeks plus to start recovering from the breakouts.
my advice to you: don't trust her. go do your own research on the ingredients of the skincare first. if most of the research materials states that it's for mature skin, then it's NOT for you!
Absolutely don't trust amway salespeople on anything they say. Most of them don't even have the education to understand what their products do.
Ask a professional. It may cost you more, but it will be less likely to cause you problems than a janitor's advise that "it's ok".
With regard to the previous answers you received, I can only testify to actually using the product. I just love it when people disregard a great product just because they have developed opinions of a company that represents it, even if they have no specific experience with either.
I know that Artistry offers a 180 day money back guarantee which includes the shipping of the product back to them if you don't like what you try. I have personally never had to use that because I love all the products I have tried.
I can imagine using many different anti-aging products could be bad if they were all different types of chemicals, but Artistry seems to be mostly botanicals and I researched where they have 3rd party independent testing of all their products to determine the validity of their claims.
I think the vitamin C & wild yam is mostly for wrinkles so I don't know if it will do anything for scaring. If you have pits in your skin from acne sores I think they are pretty much there for life. Regardless, because of the money back guarantee I would try it. I think you are never too young to start taking care of your skin so my humble advice is go for it!
