Help!! the dandruff is taking over my head!! :s?
Ive never had dandruff like this before. My head is extremely itchy, has huge flakes, when i rub my hair it literally looks like parmesan cheese falling from my head. My hair is oily and greasy lately so i dont think its dry… i use dove shampoo and conditioner, i have been using it for over a year and this dandruff problem just recently occured about 3 weeks ago and its worsened. i did do a vinegar treatment and it didnt work. also because of all the itching i did rub a generous amount of Moiturizing Aloe after sun lotion with aloe vera and vitamin E into my scalp just in case it was dry. my heads so itchy im at the point where im actually losing sleep. also recently my forehead and underneath my neck along my jaw line ive broken out with acne… ive used many different cleansers and they make it worse. i dont know what to do… please help me.

First of all, I would recommend that you see a dermatologist. They could prescribe antifungal ketoconazole tablets to aid you. Dandruff can be a fungal inbalance in your skin.
Also, you should go to a pharmacy and get a medicinal shampoo there. There are quite a few, designed for rinsing purposes after your regular wash and they stabilize capillary skin oil.
The one I could warmly recommend is Nizoral Shampoo. I had a bit of an issue a few years ago, then I started using that. A once a week rinse had terrific results. I redo the treatment every now and then, and not only does it solve the dandruff problem, but it does wonders for volume.
