You really have to be patient and try things for a little while to see if they work. I myself am guilty of buying several products and only giving them a week to help. So far, the only thing that helps is witch hazel and tea tree oil (diluted with water) I am 26 and break out ever month around the time I get my period. Birth control helps sometimes, but my hormones are so out of control that i would usually still break out even on birth control. I just try to keep my face very clean and kill the bacteria with the witch hazel and tea tree oil every night. I use moisturizer and clean and clear spot treatment also when needed. Ok I have acne myself and feel your pain. Its very aggravating. And I'm 23 with acne, and never had it as a teen. I use to take accutane when I was a little younger because I would get acne on my back… but as soon as I stopped taking it thats when all the acne started on my face. But about a month ago my Doctor prescribed me Doxycycline hyclate, its a pill, and also Clindamycin its a topical gel. And its working wonderfully, so I'd suggest you to ask your doctor about it.

Try proactive or go see your doctor and ask for a prescription drug.

Drink lots of water and when you have a meal replace your sodas with water trust me it helps

Ok so i have horrible acne as well and am going to the dermo next month and i have been told that acne PILLS from the dermo work really well and accutane is the Most Potent but if you get pregnant on it it will deform your baby and i believe thats the worst side affect but if you are on birth control and such it should not be a big deal and i am hoping to get on that or a genaric brand i have tried Skin ID and Proactive and all neutogena, clean and clear, and clearasil and nothing worked or it did and then it stopped. Prenatal vitamins help your whole body as well as biotin which is in the vitamin isle also. Good luck to you and me as well!!!
