How do i get rid of acne on my chin? It's below the corners of my mouth, prescriptions don't work!?

I was on roaccutane 4 years ago but, although a vast imrpovement, have never had clear skin. My skin has been getting progressively worse for 2 years. I think if I want to go on it again I have to go through all the different levels of treatment first and that takes years! I am taking a multi-vitamin and trying to remember to take agnus castus but keep forgetting! I have suspected PCOS too but i'm not overweight for my height, BMI is 24, i'm 21 years old and have been a vegetarian for 3 years. I am going to try Saw palmetto supplement, chromium and Acidophilus. No topical treatment or antibiotics are working, nor do dermalogica products! Thanks for your help!
Thanks ppl, i have heard of proactive but is it UK or US, i live in England. And what is it? By the way I have been on;
Topical; face washes made with salicyclic, glycolic or lactic acid. benzoyl peroxide creams on their own, and with antibiotics in the cream as well. Witch hazel and tea tree oil.
Internal; I have been on loads of different antibiotics.
Dianette- a form of the pill
Roaccutane
And, i have also tried probiotics, multivitamins, toothpaste regularly! Just to clarify, the spots are worst on my chin, also a few on my cheeks and forehead so don't think its a food allergy. Also the skin is quite dry, but the spots are definately acne. Finally, as I live in the UK i rely on the NHS, an appointment to see a dermatologist is rarely given and the waiting list is 3 months at least. Privately it costs £250 or 5 before treatment! Thanks anyway, the website was good.

I had the same thing. I started to keep the corners dry & I try to wipe my mouth off & on throughout the day (to get rid of oil build-up).

It helped LOTS.

to tell you the truth when I was in junior high I had acne really bad it was really bad on my forehead, by my mouth, and my cheeks. I got on birthcontrol and believe it or not that really dried them up. They say it helps and I believe it now. Also wash your face often. Avoid putting oily makeup or lotions on your face and hopefully it gets to lookin better. Good luck!

I used to break out a lot. Try Thoroughly Clean Face Wash by Dessert Essence. It can be found in your local Whole Foods. It works so well and isn't harsh on your face. It's all natural and made without animal biproduct and is cruelty free.

ok if u havent tried this, put baking soda and water together until it makes a good paste. Then put it on your acne before you go to bed. Then wash it off with water when you wake up!

It seems you should consult your dermatologist, however, in case you haven't tried this one product, I can vouch for it from experience. Go to http://www.mariobadescu.com and look under products, acne treatments, for a product called "Drying Lotion". It works unbelievably well especially if you apply it faithfully as soon as a pimple makes an appearance. Good luck

This could be off-the-wall, but might you be allergic to something you eat?? If the acne is only below the corners of your mouth, it could be a topical food allergy. Just a thought…

Please take a look at my acne page. Hope it helps.

Use Pure Works. It is a new antibacterial product that kills 99.9 percent of bacteria and viruses for up to four hours. It is FDA approved. It contains no alcohol or pesticides so it won't sting or dry your skin. It is great on acne because, as it kills baceria for hours, and acne are bacteria, it will kill it and make your skin nice and soft in the process. I currently use it, and have talked to people who have had good results for acne with pure works.

I get it at: http://www.mypureworks.com/distributors/gn
(apparently this won't show the whole website, put your mouse over the site here to be show the whole web address.

I would just try the pure works foam at first if I were you.
You can learn more about it on the product tour.
Good luck

Try the Clear Skin Regimen by Acne.org, I set a goal of three months for myself last April and stuck with it, after a month my skin was completely clear, and since I set a goal farther away it was easier to achieve, as I didn't have my hopes up for a quick fix.
