I'm a 25 year old male, with facial acne, what vitamins should I take?

I'm taking centrum and vitamin E (400i.u.) also zinc (50mg) my diet consists of anything and everything. I am active. Do my hormones have anything to do with my acne?

You know, your doctor will usually tell you that hormones have nothing to do with acne or diet, but I don't believe this to be so.

I had acne when I was younger and found a way to get rid of it after trying everything on the store shelves. I even went on prescription medicine that didn't work. And yes, proactive didn't either.

What worked for me is staying away from dairy products, especially milk and ice cream. I seemed to have more break-outs when ingesting these products.

And the magic ingredient that help the acne go away was…
"Tea-tree-oil" You can get at you local Walmart for $5 a bottle.
Buy some q-tips and use them to dab on the spots. It might burn a little, but that's part of the cleansing/oxidizing effect as it will help clear out your pores. Don't put on with your fingers, the tea tree oil will just absorb right through your skin. And it is safe to use, natural herbal, so don't worry.

Also, eat a lot of carrots. Carrots help oxidize the blood in your body and help the creating of new white a red blood cells. And stay away from fatty acid foods especially fast food places. Hope this helps.

And don't listen to the whole cleanlinesses bull. That's a wives tale. You could be the cleanest person on earth and still have the worst acne in the world. It has to do with genetics. Ask each of your parents about acne, and usually either dad or mom had bad acne when they were younger. Any good dermatologist will tell you the same. Genetics.

I say tea-tree-oil, because it will actually disinfect the infected pimple/cyst area, and kill the oil/bacteria that's formed around the pore. Pretty soon you will start to notice the oil production is becoming less and less, and the spots are dieing out – struggling to survive.
