Is There A Pill To Help Make My Hair, Nails, And Skin Healthier? Any Food Suggestions To Eat As Well?

I just turned sixteen in July, and recently I've been more and more concerned with my so called "perfect image." Now, I know no one is perfect, but we all have our own ideas of perfect. I have mild acne, but recently it's gotten worse. I've had a bad flair up this week. (And school pictures are tomorrow. GREAT.) I used to bite my nails a lot, and I'm now trying to break the habit. My nails are fragile and they flake a lot. One last thing, I cut my hair short so all my layers could grow out evenly, and I'm tired of waiting for my hair to grow. This was months ago, and it's barely grown.

Within the past week, I've become more aware of what I eat. I've been trying to add more fruit and veggies and water to my diet, but it's hard to break old bad habits sometimes. I was wondering if there were any certain foods that you could suggest to help promote a healthy body and faster growing hair?

Also, is there any pills I could take to help get the results I want? I've been recommended to take prenatal vitamins before, but they always made me sick. (And they taste horrible.) I've also been told to take One A Day for teens, but I didn't see very good results. I've heard of Biotin? Or something along the lines of that? Is that pill any good? Do you have any other pill suggestions? Should I go back to the One A Day or Prenatal?

Someone also recommended me to use Neutrogena's Rapid Clear 7 Day Acne Intervention Kit. Has anyone ever used that before? Did it work wonders for them? And after I finish the 7 days, is there any other good products to help keep my skin clear after the treatment?

Any other additional tips would be greatly appreciated. <3

Be you first and foremost. Trim your hair once a week to stimulate growth. Healthy diet will help your body develop. Drink Milk it will do your body good! Don't eat sweets and potato chips, fried and greasy foods.

Check out http://www.allvitaminsplus.com to find vitamins and supplements to help with your needs in combating acne. (diet helps with acne as well).

Check out their soaps as well and wash your face often each day to stop dirt from clogging your pores.

Peace~!

I use One A Day women's vitamins and they help me. I usually get sick very often and my immune system isn't great but multivitamins seem to help. Vitamin D pills help with giving skin and hair a healthier glow. Vitamin D is what you get from the sun, and the supplement will make you feel better and it actually assists clearing acne as well.

Eating better and drinking more water are a great start. You seem to be on the right track. It is okay to slip up once in a while but knowing how to take care of your body and wanting to are the first steps.

Try and cut out smoking, drinking coffee or too much caffeine, if any of those things apply to you. If you still feel like your appearance is being affected by your health, you should see a doctor. Blood tests may reveal low iron or calcium levels and supplementing those will help with your overall look and the way you feel as well.

You can clear your acne through a healthy diet. Naturally, you don't need to put anything on your face. I've tried it all before too and spent A LOT OF MONEY doing it.

It's actually a little bit more complicated that just drinking water although keeping your body hydrated is very important. You can touch your face (I used to be super paranoid) but then I found out it's really about curing acne from the inside instead of concentrating on the outside.

I'm Ray and I'm a currently studying for my Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.

For more than 10 years, I've suffered from, battled and eventually cured my acne myself. I've tried everything from ProActiv, creams, antibiotics, herbs, and even flying out to a foreign country to visit a famous dermatologist. Nothing worked. You can imagine the devastation I felt in my heart… and in my pockets.

You can do it in 5 steps, fastest, I've seen results within a couple of weeks, and slower (if you have trouble controlling what you eat and keep falling off the bandwagon =), maybe 2-3 months.

Step one is to normalize hormonal level by eating foods that are plentiful in omega 3 such as fish oil, flaxseed. This is to make sure your omega 3 to omega 6 ratio is balance.

There's more, but there's too much to type in this little box, you can just check out my website for that.

I've created a website that contains more than a decade of experience of articles, pictures, videos, reviews and anything that you could ask for on how I cleared my acne, things that I tried that didn't work, and how to clear your acne.

Join me, and thousands of others, in uncovering the TRUTH about acne.
