I think you maybe using too many things on your face. Too many products can cause your face to break out. I used to be a serious product junkie. With the things you are using I wouldn't use the vitamin e oil or the toner. Try the face wash morning and night. Pond's cream in the morning/night and use the scrub once a week.
I never had good luck with Neutrogena. I have combo skin with minimal scarring around my t-zone and chin area. Here is a routine my derm suggested:
Basis – Sensitive Skin Soap with Buff Puff Extra Gentle (morning and night)
**The Buff Buff will help exfoliate the skin and reduce the scars**
Purpose – Moisturizer with SPF 15 (can be worn under makeup**
–Use spot treatment after moisturizer.
Use the scrub once a week.
If you can, try this and see how it works for you. Seems to be working for me, but I am also trying to find natural products with tea tree oil in it. I am having luck with this brand called Derma E.
A lot of people actually do not even need to use toner because all it is doing is taking a lot of the excess moisture out of your skin. That could really be what is causing your acne, your skin is basically missing it's own moisture. And you should see results with Vitamin E on your scars. I use St. Ive's Vitamin E lotion on my scars and stretchmarks and they are minimizing. I hope this helps though and good luck to you!
I'm thinking it might be the vitamin e oil that's causing the problems… since oil clogges pores.
have you been stressed recently? it might be stress breakouts…
that's all i can think of… but sometimes my face just randomly breaks out for a week and then it clears up.. maybe that's what happened
I think you are giving contradicting signals to your skin. Vitamin E is great for your skin but if you are doing it pure it might be too strong for your face. All the products you are using are OK except for the Pond's Dry skin cream because it is full of emollients (oils) and if you are prone to acne , oil is a no no. Try not to use the toner anymore also. Toners usually have a high content in alcohol and they dry your skin's water and increase oil production because of it. If you need a moisturizer I would recommend an oil free moisturizer. Neutrogena has many good ones just read the label and look for something like oil-free moisturizer, moiturizer for oily skin etc…..
Hope it helps!
