In regards to curvy_chick000, it sounds like she had a REALLY bad interaction that is very, VERY unusual for Evening Primrose Oil. It may have been an interaction with a drug she was taken (which I'm willing to bet), or a reaction to a medical condition, or maybe just an allergic reaction.

Evening Primrose Oil has no listed warnings on the bottle and is generally safe for the general population. It IS very good for skin health as well as women's "monthly issues" because of the Omega-6 Essential Fatty Acid (GLA).

It's possible it might help acne... but so will anything with benefits for skin health. Unfortunately, acne has several causes for it, so without knowing what's causing it, it's hard to say what will help it. After all, supplements work to help the cause of a problem, while drugs work to help the symptoms of a problem.
