Please help! How can I treat this acne scar?
I got a pimple above my lip three months ago and shaved over it a couple of times. I used Neosporin to heal it and it worked, but I still have redness – even after three months! I've tried Bio-Oil and Ambi and Vitamin E help reduce the redness, but they haven't worked. Even after doing some research, I found that these treatments are ineffective.
A bit of scar tissue has developed under the surface of the skin, which I believe is normal. The scar on the surface of my skin is mostly flat and red / purple. I can also tell that a different texture of skin has grown over the area.
This scar has really affected my self-esteem and I don't ever want to go out with friends anymore. I keep my head down when I'm walking outside, and I've noticed I am really not as happy anymore. I don't have any money to go to a doctor, and I don't have anyone that can help me at an affordable price. I hope someone has some advice for me. I really want to be confident and happy again.
Please do not suggest Accutane. My skin is fine except for this acne scar!

Acne and bacteria on your face go hand in hand. Get rid of the bacteria and you get rid of the acne. Manuka honey from New Zealand with an activity of +15 will kill the bacteria, even that under the skin deep in you pores. Bacteria gone, acne gone. You can use the regular products or drugs that will dry the skin or have some side effect that are worse than the acne, or use a safe product that tastes good and has a lot of other good uses when your skin is health. Works well to keep away wrinkles too. If you do make it to a dermatologist let him or her know about this honey, since there is not much in it for them don't expect them to push it though.
