Should I chop my hair off?

Well I loved my hair how it was, but I got my bangs thickened yesterday, and a trim, but the trim was kinda on the short side, my hair used to be like 5 inches below my shoulders, now it's like three, it looks like it's either too short for long hair, and too long for medium hair. So it's looks kinda sloppy especially with my thickened bangs. I have layers in my hair, the shortest one shoulder length. So i pinned back my long layers, and left the short layers in the front, I really like my hair shorter. I've thought about cutting it, but my hair grows extremely slow. So if I regret it, it would take about two years to grow back, which will suck. I know there's special vitamins and stuff like that to increase the growth of hair, but it will still take forever for my hair to grow back.
My hair is naturally wavy, and damaged. ( I flat ironed it a lot last year) I don't use the flat iron at all anymore except on my bangs, and once a month occasionally.
I'm 5 7 and have an oval/heart shaped face. And I have facial redness/acne…….like pretty bad, I'm afraid if I cut my hair, it will exaggerate the redness in my face. I'm also peeling my face every other day (part of my acne treatment) Will my face look worse if my hair is gone? will it look better bcuz my hair is really distracting now?
If I cut it all off, it will be healthier….. So yeah i really don't know what to do.
Ps—- I'm lso a brunette (if that changes anything).
Thanks so muchh!!!

Having shorter hair will indeed draw more attention to your face. As you said, your face is peeling from acne treatments. That is the down side. The good side is, you will have a fun new haircut if you decide to do it, and by the time it grows back, your acne treatment may be over with, and you will have beautiful healthy hair around a nice face with healthy skin too. You may miss your hair if you do it, but you never know until you try! I would say be bold and just go for it!

I think you should chop it off like I'am going to!!!

I also asked a question so check out the link and the 2nd picture is how i'am going to cut it, and I think it would look good on you too.

I just chopped my hair from about 2 inches below my shoulders (in the front) to chin level and I love it. I always say I like my hair long, but when it gets long (it's been waist-length) all I ever do it pull in a bun or pony tail, so what's the point. If your hair is damaged it may account for the slow growth, and if you like your hair short then I say go for it. Maybe start with something easy like a bob, which is flattering on pretty much every face shape, and it's still long enough to play with. I don't think cutting your hair, especially a bob cut, will accentuate any skin issues you have, and since you've started a face care routine soon you'll want your face to show more, right?
