Vitamin b5 to treat acne? Could anybody who has used this please tell me your experience?

I have moderate-severe acne.
I don't have as many pimples as I has a couple years back. (due to antibiotic treatments).
My skin is VERY oily and greasy. I have countless blackheads. It's very depressing and hard to cope with.
I have visited my dermatoligist and she reccomended accutane as a last resort.
But that stuff looks DANGEROUS. I mean is acne really worth risking depression, suacidal thoughts, and hair loss?

I did a lot of online research and decided accutane's not for me. I came accross vitamin b5 and some people have reported it to be as good as if not better than accutane, and there are no crazy side effects.

If you have took or are taking vitamin b5 could you please tell me how it affected you? and what doseage did you take?
Thank you.

Accutane will clear your skin but for me having been on 3 rounds of it, each for 4.5-5 months, it always returned within 6-8 months after having stopped using it. It took about a month before I saw good results when I started each round. For me the acne returned to it's bad self. B5 a joke. I will tell you that what i used to stop it was a spray called Hydra Pure Mist, from MD Skincare. They have since reformulated it it is now called Hydra Pure Smart Spray 2.5 oz for 18.00. IT is paraben free and it is vegan. It is a chelator, meaning it neutralizes minerals and all the bad stuff that is in TAP WATER. I read about it in a beauty magazine that stated in some people who suffer from chronic drug resistant acne, that the source of it can be these minerals found in tap water that settle into your pores after you bath or wash your face, and turn oily and clog your pores. Once I started using this spray, my zits cleared up. I have been using it for about 3 yrs. It does not help so much with blackheads, but it has kept me from getting the huge red pustules that used to cover my face. I would use this, then in conjunction use Tazorac, such a small amount when using Tazorac. this will then make iteasy to extract blackheads. When u squeeze a blackhead it can make it spread to other parts of your face. Because we often have to squeeze "hard. Tazorac will thin out the epidermis which is the very top layer, keep dead skin from accumilating and make it to where the blackheads sooooo much easier to extract. Try these two methods for a couple of weeks. A regular doc can write a script for Tazorac, b4 you go get on Accutane

Hi there

Accutane is definately NOT worth the risk! You might want to try vitamin b5 but I am not sure if you are gonna get great results with this. I have had the same problems before in the past like yours, but I took a different route to clearing my acne, and that was a holistic approach!

The reason your skin has been bad for so long is because of a hormoonal imbalance which makes your skin go CRAZY, so to cure your acne, you need to stop it from the source, which is inside you.

Definately have a look into holistic treatments if you can, I have more info about it in my source box, I highly suggest you check it out, I managed to get clear in just under a month using certain methods!

Good luck!
