What do I have to do to stop my acne?
I've always had clear smooth acne free skin until last summer I've become prone to acne due to Biotin vitamins and a eye shadow I tried and it broke me out and since than I now have mild acne.Due to the breakout with the eyeshadow and it cleared up it left me with Ice pick scarring on my cheeks they aren't deep but they are there,I don't want to stress out and break down because I now have mild acne and scarring but I'm getting close I just miss not worrying about my having acne and having to use a prescribed acne topical lotion everyday.Is there anyway I can cure my acne prone skin and not have it? Is there any treatments my dermatologist can give me to remove the scarring? Help please I just don't want to worry about acne again.

What i did to solve this problem for me was:
-exfoliate 2 times a week (St. Ives apricot scrub). i do this in the shower as it saves me time in my routine.
-wash face with cleanser every night (Clean & clear …. morning burst? it's a purple bottle and it foams
This usually does me pretty well. the exfoliation is nice as it scrubs off dead skin cells. and after exfoliating, use the cleanser.
if you have a nice moisturizer, that's great too. use that but not too much
it would be best if you refrained from clogging your pores with makeup!
also, when washing, (this is another reason why i wash my face in the shower), before using the wash, open your pores with heat (steam, water). wash thoroughly and when you're done, rinse with cool water (or use an icecube). the coolness will close your pores and help prevent clogging.
Chlorine helps you clean your pores, sitting in a hot sauna, having mud facials done, not to sound disgusting but male sperm on your face cleans out your pores too, it's weird I know but it works.

I had severe acne last year and my dermatologist put me on a sulfur pill twice a day and also told me to use retinee to avoid scarring. Do not use acutane. There are too many side effects, it caused my cousin to almost kill himself because a side effect is severe depression and suicidal thoughts
